As part of our mission to promote Brazilian art, we developed Carré Art Project.
We work with individual artists and partners in order to identify what
projects and opportunities best match their interest and needs.
The exhibithion “Ser, Habitar e Imaginar” brings 14 Brazilian contemporary artists to Miami in September, 2018 curated by Adriana Herrera, PhD and Willy Castellanos, Art Historian and the curatorial assistance of Flavia Macuco.
Over 10 emerging to mid-career Brazilian artists are exhibiting their works in South Florida with 5 amazing locations by Büro Miami: Coconut Grove, Midtown, MiMo District, South Beach, & South Miami. Büro is a Miami-based co-working space that currently has over 300 growing companies in their community; includes: startups, media companies, design firms, and others! LAND+BODY=Escape was an exhibition sponsored in part by Carré Art, produced by The55project and curated by the incredible Tatiane Schilaro. The show was created as part of our mission to promote Brazilian art in the United States. The first edition of the show premiered in Wynwood, Miami and the second edition was selected to show at the NARS Foundation in Brooklyn, NY as part of the organization’s Emerging Curators Open Call, 2018. Carré Art partly sponsored with The55project to bring Brazilian artist Mateu Velasco to the US with the AnnexB Residency Program in New York. AnnexB is the first NYC-based organization to offer an Art Residency exclusively to Brazilian artists.
